CETEX graded 24-50mm structural polypropylene fiber blend for heavy load bearing concrete structure

24mm – 50mm Polypropylene (PP) Structural Fibers

24-50 MM GRADED FIBER

CETEX CPPST is a high-performance, graded (mixed-length) blend of 100% virgin polypropylene fibers. By combining lengths of 24mm and 50mm, this engineered blend provides a comprehensive reinforcement matrix that individual fiber lengths cannot match.

In this "Graded" system:

  • The 24mm fibers increase the fiber count per kilogram, providing dense micro-reinforcement to stop cracks before they start.
  • The 50mm fibers provide deep anchorage and macro-reinforcement, bridging larger stresses and significantly increasing the load-bearing capacity of the concrete.

Primary Applications

  • RCC Slabs & Foundations: Reduces plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Bridges & Overpasses: Enhances the durability of concrete decks against environmental wear.
  • Heavy Load-Bearing Structures: Ideal for industrial floors and heavy-duty foundations.
  • Roads & Highway Pavements (PQC): Designed for high-traffic concrete roads requiring maximum fatigue resistance.
  • Primary Structural Slabs: A reliable alternative to light-to-medium steel reinforcement mesh.
  • Dams & Hydraulic Structures: Provides high erosion resistance and structural integrity against water pressure.
  • Precast Structural Elements: Used in bridge girders, heavy pipes, and septic tanks, manhole covers, and Jersey barriers to improve "green strength" and prevent damage during handling.
  • Industrial Flooring (VDF/Tremix): Ideal for warehouse floors, parking lots, and workshops where impact resistance is critical.
  • Heavy Precast Elements: Used in the production of concrete pipes, manhole covers, and Jersey barriers to improve "green strength."

Why Graded Fibers Outperform Single Lengths

  • Complete 3D Network: Because the fibers are longer than the maximum size of standard aggregates (usually 20mm), every single strand is effectively anchored and active in reinforcing the concrete.
  • Dual-Action Protection: You get the benefit of Micro-reinforcement (crack prevention) and Macro-reinforcement (structural strength) in a single dose.
  • Increased Flexural Strength: The graded blend significantly improves the concrete's ductility, allowing it to absorb more energy and resist impact without brittle failure.
  • Superior Dispersion: Despite the long lengths, the fiber surface is specially treated to ensure they "open up" and disperse uniformly in the mixer without balling.
  • Rust-Free Longevity: Replaces steel mesh with a non-corrosive alternative, preventing "concrete cancer" and reducing long-term maintenance costs.

Dosage & Mixing Guidelines

  • For Crack Prevention: 0.6 kg to 0.9 kg per cubic meter ($m^3$).
  • For Primary Reinforcement (Structural): 1.0 kg to 6.0 kg per cubic meter  depending on design requirements.
  • How to Use:
    • In Machine Mixers: Add fibers to the rotating drum with a small amount of water before adding aggregates and cement.
    • In RMC Trucks: Add fibers in small lots. After the last lot, rotate the drum at maximum RPM for 70–100 revolutions (approx. 5–7 minutes) to ensure a perfect 3D mix.

The Quality Benchmark: The 0.91 Float Test

Technical Assurance: Structural performance relies on the high tensile strength of pure polypropylene. Adulterated fibers with fillers will sink. CETEX Graded Fibers have a specific gravity of 0.91. If your structural fiber sinks in water, it is not 100% virgin PP and may compromise the safety of your structure.
