CETEX 60mm structural polypropylene macro-fiber for heavy-duty concrete pavement and tunneling.

60mm (PP) Macro-Fibers: The Ultimate Structural Solution

60mm POLYPROPYLENE FIBER - The Ultimate Structural Reinforcement

CETEX 60mm Polypropylene Fibers are ultra-high-tenacity structural macro-fibers engineered for the most demanding civil engineering projects. At 60mm (2.4 inches), these fibers provide the maximum possible mechanical anchorage within the concrete matrix.

Designed to  replace heavy steel reinforcement and welded wire mesh in ground-supported applications, our 60mm fibers offer a high-modulus, non-corrosive solution that drastically increases the toughness and impact resistance of large-scale concrete sections.

Primary Applications

  • Massive Industrial Foundations: Used in heavy-load factory floors and logistics hubs to replace steel bars.
  • Heavy-Duty Shotcrete: The premium choice for primary tunnel linings and high-risk rock stabilization.
  • Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC): Ideal for heavy-duty highways, airport runways, and port pavements.
  • Marine & Coastal Infrastructure: Unmatched performance in seawalls, breakwaters, and docks where steel would fail due to salt-water corrosion.
  • Large Precast Segments: Used in the production of bridge girders and heavy structural precast units.

The 60mm Structural Advantage

  • Ultimate Load Transfer: The 60mm length ensures that the fiber bridges even large cracks, providing high post-crack load-bearing capacity (residual strength).
  • Rust-Proof Structural Integrity: Unlike steel fibers, 60mm PP fibers will never rust. This eliminates "spalling" and protects the structure's aesthetic and strength for its entire lifecycle.
  • High Energy Absorption: In tunneling and mining, the 60mm length provides the highest Joule rating (energy absorption), ensuring safety in high-stress environments.
  • Reduced Construction Time: Eliminates the logistics of steel mesh—simply add to the concrete mix. This can reduce project timelines by up to 30%.
  • Safe & Easy Handling: Non-magnetic and non-hazardous. Unlike steel, these fibers do not cause injury during handling or wear down concrete pumping equipment.

Dosage & Mixing Guidelines

  • Industrial Flooring: 2.5 kg to 5.0 kg per cubic meter ($m^3$).
  • Structural Slabs / Roads: 4.0 kg to 7.0 kg per cubic meter ($m^3$) depending on design load.
  • Tunnel Shotcrete: 5.0 kg to 9.0 kg per cubic meter ($m^3$) for maximum energy absorption.
  • Mixing: Add fibers to the mixer with the aggregates. Rotate the drum at high speed for 8–10 minutes. CETEX’s unique surface treatment ensures these long fibers disperse perfectly without clumping or "balling."

The CETEX 0.91 Quality Benchmark

Technical Warning: In structural engineering, fiber purity is critical. Fillers used in low-grade fibers make them brittle and heavy. CETEX 60mm fibers have a specific gravity of 0.91, ensuring they are 100% virgin material. A simple "Float Test" on-site is the best way to verify you are using structural-grade reinforcement.
