CETEX 40mm high-strength monofilament polypropylene fiber for road, slab & load bearing structure.

36mm Polypropylene (PP) MacroFiber: Heavy-Duty ReinforcemENt

36mm for Structural Toughness & Industrial Strength

CETEX 36mm Polypropylene Fibers are high-performance, extra-long monofilament fibers engineered for deep-section concrete reinforcement. At 40mm, these fibers offer a massive surface-area-to-bond ratio, making them the ideal choice for projects where traditional steel mesh is difficult to install or prone to corrosion.

By providing a high-modulus reinforcement throughout the entire thickness of the concrete, 40mm fibers significantly improve the ductility (ability to bend without breaking) and impact resistance of the structure.

Primary Applications

  • Concrete Roads & Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC): Reduces edge cracking and improves the long-term durability of highway shoulders.
  • Heavy Industrial Flooring: Best for floors subjected to heavy impact, such as foundries, scrap yards, and heavy machinery workshops.
  • Shotcrete & Rock Support: Used in tunnels and mines for thick-layer sprayed concrete to stabilize rock faces and reduce rebound.
  • Precast Concrete Barriers: Ideal for Jersey barriers, heavy-duty manhole covers, and septic tanks where high green strength is required.
  • Slope Stabilization: Reinforces concrete used in embankments and hillsides to prevent soil-pressure cracking.

Key Benefits of the 40mm Length

  • Enhanced Crack Bridging: The 40mm length allows the fiber to bridge wider gaps, providing "post-crack" structural integrity that shorter fibers cannot offer.
  • High Energy Absorption: Ideal for structures that face sudden loads or vibrations, as the 40mm fibers absorb and distribute stress across the concrete matrix.
  • Zero Corrosion Risk: Unlike steel fibers or mesh, 40mm PP fibers will never rust, making them perfect for outdoor roads and hydraulic structures.
  • Cost & Time Savings: Eliminates the labor-intensive process of cutting and tying steel mesh. Simply add to the mix and pour.
  • Uniform Distribution: Despite their length, CETEX 40mm fibers are engineered to disperse quickly without clumping, ensuring no "weak spots" in your concrete.

Dosage & Mixing Guidelines

  • Standard Industrial Reinforcement: 0.9 kg to 1.5 kg per cubic meter.
  • Heavy-Duty/Structural Use: 2.0 kg to 3.0 kg per cubic meter.
  • Mixing Instructions: Add the fibers to the concrete mixer during the batching process. For best results, mix at high speed for 5–8 minutes. Because of the 40mm length, ensure the drum is rotating at maximum RPM to allow the fibers to "open" and distribute evenly.

The CETEX Quality Standard: 0.91 Test

Quality Check: Because 36mm fibers are used in structural applications, purity is non-negotiable.  CETEX 36mm fibers are 100% Virgin PP and float on water. If your 36mm fiber sinks, it contains fillers that reduce the tensile strength, compromising your project's safety.
