CETEX 3mm Polypropylene Fibers are ultra-fine, 100% virgin monofilament  micro-fibers designed specifically for applications requiring   a smooth finish and superior crack control. Due to their short length and high surface area, these fibers disperse instantly in cementitious mixes, providing a secondary reinforcement that prevents hairline cracks before they start.

While 6mm or 12mm fibers are standard for concrete, the 3mm length is the "gold standard" for:

• Thin-coat Plastering: Prevents shrinkage cracks in internal and external wall finishes.
• Ready-Mix Mortar: Enhances the cohesion of the mix without affecting workability.
•  POP (Plaster of Paris) Work: Increases the impact resistance of intricate moldings and false ceilings. 
• Decorative Concrete: Ideal for intricate molds and GRC (Glass Rice Concrete) where longer fibers might stick out.  
• Decorative Paints & Textured Coatings: Prevents "mud-cracking" in thick-build decorative paints and exterior textures.
• Industrial Applications: Specifically used in lead-acid battery plates and specialized filter media.

• Eliminates Hairline Cracks: Reduces plastic shrinkage cracking by up to 90% during the critical drying phase.
• Smooth Surface Finish: The 3mm length ensures no "fuzz" or "hairy" texture on the finished plaster surface.
• Enhanced Bond Strength: Improves the adhesion of plaster to bricks, blocks, and concrete surfaces.
• Waterproof Support: By reducing cracks, it significantly lowers the permeability of the wall, preventing dampness and seepage.
• Chemical Stability: Being 100% synthetic, it will never rust (unlike steel) and is immune to the high pH of cement.

• For Plastering: 125g to 150g per 50kg bag of cement.
• For Specialized Mortars: 0.6 kg to 0.9 kg per cubic meter of mix.
• Mixing Instructions: Add the fibers to the dry aggregate/cement mix and blend for 1-2 minutes before adding water, or add directly to the wet mix and rotate for 3-5 minutes at high speed.

Watch the Floating Test: Our 3mm fibers have  specific gravity of 0.91, meaning they float in water. If your fiber sinks, it isn't  polypropylene.
